American Idol Season 7 has witnessed some great singing talent in the show’s history. And as a music lover, its fabulous place to be in.
Till the Top 3 last week, David Cook had been my favourite. Though the ability and potential of others was also commendable, but I was strongly feeling them to be week to dethrone him from being the favourite to win this Season.
But The Final between the David Cook and David Archuleta changed the whole game.
While the former was good as usual, it was Archuleta who amazed me with his range in all the three songs he performed. Phenomenal by huge margin.
Round 3 required the contestants to perform any song of their choice. I believe it was the most important round as here the contestant had everything in their hand to show their talent as a singer, as a performer and as a contemporary recording artist.
Archuleta selected ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon. And it was in every respect a knock out performance. He showed his range as a great singer and also, his ability to touch the hearts of millions with his voice.
David Archuleta made me fall in love with the song. Such beautiful lyrics about humanity and brotherhood. Beautiful!!
In all rightness of ability and talent, David Archuleta will be the Season 7’s American Idol.
